Nestlé Waters Direct

NWDi’s main activity is to rent, install and maintain water coolers serving two channels: the workplace, including retail environments, and, increasingly, the home. It also delivers bulk water in 18.5-litre (average) returnable containers to customer premises. It employs 3,500 people across Europe.

DHL Exel Supply Chain

DHL Exel Supply Chain Chelmsford distributes chilled food for Boots the Chemist across the southern part of the country. The product is distributed to around 400 stores, about 72 of which are in central London. It has approximately 53 employees, including 11 drivers.

Tyre Pressure Monitor (UK) Ltd

Tyre Pressure Monitor Ltd supplies tyre pressure monitoring products to end-user, trade and business customers. It currently has five members of staff.

Sleafordian Coaches

Coach and bus operations, providing passenger vehicles for private hire, county council services and commercial services. There are 30 members of staff, 14 of whom are drivers.

Institute of Highway Incorporated Engineers

The IHIE is a UK professional institute qualifying incorporated engineers and technicians with the Engineering Council. It provides training courses and good practice guidelines. It has six members.

Young Marmalade

Young Marmalade supplies cars with modern safety features linked to low cost insurance, specifically to the young driver sector in the UK. Operating primarily via the internet, a small team of 8 has supplied over 1,000 cars in the first 3 years.

DHL Exel Supply Chain - Shirepark

Shirepark is one of DHL’s numerous operating locations worldwide. The site provides logistic solutions for two major high street retailers, Boots and Homebase. The site employs 150 core staff and up to 400 temporary workers at peak periods and has 200 vehicle movements per day.


SPEED is a non-profit organisation that was established in 2005 after an eight-year pilot project. Its primary objective is to develop an outstanding Classroom Driver Education programme and then deliver it to schools across the UK.

City Limits Driving Centre

City Limits Driving Centre is a privately owned and operated Driver Training School, who specialises in the Management of Occupational Road Risk. With full access to 15 driver trainers throughout Scotland, it delivers driver training to all modes of road vehicles, and other road users. 

Lancashire Partnership for Road Safety

The Lancashire Partnership for Road Safety is a multi-agency partnership committed to reducing the number of deaths and injuries on Lancashire’s roads. The project partners are: Lancashire Constabulary, Lancashire County Council, Blackburn with Darwen Unitary Authority, Blackpool Council, NHS organisations, Highways Agency, Her Majesty’s Court Service, Government Office North West and the Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service.

Shell International Petroleum Company Limited

Shell Distribution is part of the international energy company Royal Dutch Shell plc. It has over 300 distribution facilities and more than 3,000 storage tanks in some 70 countries. Its global fleet of 150,000 Shell-owned or contracted trucks travels over 1.6 million kilometres every day and makes a delivery every seven seconds. Liverpool City Council

Liverpool is a city in the north west of England. It has 450,000 inhabitants. The Liverpool City Council Highways Management employs 70 members of staff, who deliver a range of highways and transport services, including transport planning, traffic management, highway maintenance, highway and public improvements, and road safety. 18 members of staff are directly engaged in road safety work.

Strathclyde Fire & Rescue

Strathclyde Fire & Rescue is the second largest fire and rescue service in the United Kingdom, one of the largest in Europe. SFR serves a population of about 2.3 million people across a 14,000 square kilometre area that ranges from rural and island communities to Scotland's largest city, Glasgow. SFR employs 2,209 wholetime, 613 retained and 271 volunteer firefighters and 469 support staff. The firefighters are based at 113 strategically sited.


Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service

The Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service covers some 4,500 square miles and makes-up almost two thirds of the landmass of Wales. We have 57 stations and a current complement of staff, both operational and support, number approximately 1,400.

BIJ Projects - Breakdown Visibility

BIJ Projects is a new business start up that supplies its recently invented road safety visibility banner (UK patent 3024426 OHIM Patent 000545140), designed to reduce the number of deaths and injuries at the roadside.

Western Investing for Health Partnership

Western IFH is the body charged by Government with advancing the IFH Public Health Strategy in the Western Health & Social Services Board area. The Investing for Health Strategy was created in 2002 by the North Ireland Executive, as the new Public Health strategy for North Ireland to address the fact that levels of ill-health here are among the highest in Europe.

RospaSmart is a voluntary Training Group, affiliated to the national RoSPA organisation. It was established in 1997 in Sussex, UK, with training branches established in early 2008 covering the adjoining counties of Kent and Hampshire. It is a Registered Charity.
The Group currently has just over 300 members. It organises a number of social and safety activities throughout the year. These include monthly "rideouts", speaker evenings, machine control days, First Aid courses.

Digital Eye Systems, Ltd.

Digital Eye Systems, Ltd. is an Eco driver Training & Consulting Company located within the University of Ulster. It employs five people withing the United Kingdom but has 1000 driver training consultants worldwide.

Ideas4ADIs Ltd

Ideas4ADIs is the one-stop centre for Training Aids and Business Software for professional driving instructors and driver trainers. Its aim is to help raise the professional status of the driving instruction industry to the level of which it should be regarded. There are two full time directors and 3 casual staff.

Ayr & District Advanced Motorists

Ayr & District Advanced Motorists is a registered charity, operated totally by volunteers. It promotes Advanced / Defensive driving and other road safety measures. It also produces a magazine that aims to be entertaining whilst introducing road safety concepts.

DriveTech (UK) plc

DriveTech(UK)plc has been established nearly 20 years and currently employs 72 full time staff and 300-350 contracted but self employed professional driver trainers. The company provides novice driver instruction, refresher training for qualified business drivers and a range of solutions for driving offenders, where they elect to attend educational courses in preference to taking a fine and points on their driving licence. DriveTech also contributes to regional road safety charity work.

J W Suckling Transport Limited

Suckling Transport is a road haulage company specialising in the transport of fuels by road in the UK. It operates 90 tanker vehicles and employs 200 people.
