The competition was organized for the purpose of promoting traffic safety as an integral part of the project:
"10 Golden Rules of Traffic" that HAK realizes as part of its cooperation with the World
Automotive Organization (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile).
The aim of the competition is to encourage young people's creativity.
The spots can be any kind of film genre, genre and genre, lasting up to 15 seconds. HAK for needs
creating videos offers visuals that can be used in the campaign.
Our school was chosen as a school ambassador and carrier for the Day project without mobile phones. Our students, together with our Police department and interior ministry, warned the public of the danger of using mobile phones in traffic.The project is conceived so that in the first year of campaigning (2017) except the announcement campaign will be announced on October 21st as the Day Without Mobile Phones.
The project has been approved and financially backed by the National Security Program

On Thursday, October 11, 2018. In our school a lecture was held within the Croatian Automobile Club (HAK) preventative educational program "KLIK - habits of responsible behavior" of the National Traffic Safety Program of the Republic of Croatia. Third and fourth grades participated in the lecture presenting the role of the belt as traffic safety factors through lectures and overturn simulators and frontal impact simulators that did had the opportunity to try and see the danger of not using the belt.
This year Technical School Slavonski Brod (TSSB) participated in Project EDWARD - Day without Road Death by organizing two activities in order to show future generation of traffic participants how to be safe in traffic, and how, by working together, we can save lives. The first successfully accomplished activity was a lecture held on September 14, honouring World First Aid Day. First year students and their teachers listened to a lecture on how to recognize an injured person and provide the adequate care.
On 23 February 2017, members of the Veterans Croatia motor club together with Croatian Automobile Club (HAK) and the Brod - Posavina Police Department, held a workshop and a lecture entitled "Sober Driver" in Technical School Slavonski Brod. The aim of the project was to show the dangers of alcohol and drugs on judgement of impaired drivers and their diminished driving capabilities, the risks of using mobile phones while driving, and driving above the speed limit - speeding. One of the goals was to promote the use of seat belts, and to improve the safety of children in a vehicle.
Technical School as part of the project “Goo Be Cool” and Culture Week 23.-27.1.2017.has been recognized the traffic culture as an important part of prevention program of traffic safety. The students through the three parts of traffic culture met with the transport culture of pedestrians, cyclists traffic culture and traffic culture motorcyclists and drivers. In Technical School we recognized the problem of traffic culture as one part of a preventive program for traffic safety.
Students of Technical school participated with its partners Croatian Auto club Marsonia at the town fair where they had the opportunity to try out a rollover simulator and simulator head-on collision.Učenici have tried simulators and were once again met with the dangers of irresponsible driving.

The entire program takes place under the motto "Not faster than life", a national program includes a ten-year period. Technical School plans to work with children aged 1 to 4 years of high school on the topic of pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists in traffic, and generally on the subject of traffic culture.

U srijedu, 13. travnja, policijska službenica za preventivu Postaje prometne policije Koprivnica, održala je edukaciju teoretskog djela - upravljanje u zoni pješačkog prijelaza, sa pripadnicima Školske prometne jedinice Osnovne škole Đuro Ester u Koprivnici. Jedinica broji 20 pripadnika, koji svakodnevno na pješačkom prijelazu u zoni škole pomažu mlađim učenicima, ali i drugim pješacima da što sigurnije prijeđu preko pješačkog prijelaza, poglavito sada kada je povećana frekvencija prometa rečenom prometnicom obzirom na rekonstrukciju Ulice Ante Starčevića i Kolodvorske ulice.
Škola Đuro Ester, Koprivnica bila je domaćin 23. Županijskog natjecanja iz geografije. Na natjecanju su sudjelovali učenici osnovnih i srednjih škola, a natjecanje je održano 29. veljače 2016. Učenici pripadnici Školske prometne jedinice bili su od velike pomoći. Pratili su učenike iz cijele županije u razgled gradu Koprivnici, te upoznavanju sa znamenitostima grada i prehrambenog muzeja Podravka.
Učenici nakon što su usvojili osnovna pravila i propise važne za sigurno sudjelovanje u prometu te izradili maketu raskrižja istu su dopunili s prometnim znakovima izrađenima od kartona i kolaž papira. Maketu i izrađene prometne znakove koristili su u prezentaciji svog projekta kod učenika drugog razreda. Informirali su učenike o pravilnom prelasku kolnika, kretanju samostalno i u grupi, obaveznom korištenju obilježenog pješačkog prijelaza za prelazak kolnika, o podjeli prometnih znakova i njihovom značenju.
Svakodnevno se susrećemo sa stradavanjem mladih u prometu, bilo kao pješaci, vozači bicikla, mopeda, suvozači u automobilu. Kako smanjiti stradavanje u prometu pitanje je kojim se stalno bavimo. Jedino efikasno rješenje je preventivno djelovati od malih nogu. Baš na taj način se i djeluje u našem gradu Koprivnici. U vrtićima se djeca i roditelji educiraju kako na siguran način sudjelovati u prometu, bilo kao pješaci, suvozači u automobilu ili vozači bicikla.
U aktivnost su uključeni učenici u dobi od osam do jedanaest godina s ciljem da se u prometu ponašaju u skladu sa prometnim pravilima. Promatrajući njihovo kretanje na dijelu puta do škole uočeno je da se dio učenika ne ponaša u skladu s prometnim pravilima. Cilj aktivnosti je educirati grupu učenika o prometnim pravilima i propisima kako bi oni svojim vršnjacima prenijeli naučeno čime bi povećali broj učenika koji će u prometu sudjelovati sukladno prometnim propisima čime bi se povećao stupanj njihove sigurnosti.
