Lithuanian Students' Creativity And Technical Information Center is a public institution. It provides a huge variety of educational activities for children: training seminars, international camps, different art contests for primary schools, road safety classes and cycling courses.

 

 

Kohustus

 

We commit to:
1. Organise a drawing contest for children of 5-6 years "Whom will you meet on the road?".
We will publish the invitation to attend the contest in the III quarter of 2010 in daily newspaper "Lietuvos rytas".
We assume that there will be approximately 300 participants from different pre-school institutions.
We will also organise exhibition of drawings in a entertainment and shopping center. 20 winners will be awarded with prizes. Using this artistic approach we would like to develop children’s responsible attitude towards road safety.
 
2. Actions and trainings for 7-13 years old children.
We will organise two actions:
• In May 2010, action for11-13years old children “Dviracio vairuotojo ABC (”Cyclists’s ABC”).
Purpose: to develop children’s awareness on road safety and the habit of controlling their actions on the road.
Task: children will have to set on the road layout cyclists figures of the following tasks: cycling start, going round the obstacle, turn and stop. Planned number of participants annually approximately 10.000. We will repeat the campaign in 2011 and 2012.
 
• The IV quarter of 2010. We will organise an action for 7-11 years old children. “Mus supantys zenklai” ("Road signs that surround us”)
Objective: To develop children's observation, orientation, reaction.
Children will be given 29 road signs puzzle.
Task: quickly and correctly put the signs and be able to explain what they mean.
Planned number of participants annually approximately 1000. We will repeat the campaign in 2011 and 2012.
 
3. Seminar for pre-school and primary school teachers. (The IV quarter of 2010)
Objective: To provide guidance on how to develop children's behavioural skills on the road.
Number of participants - 50.
Publicize the events in the daily newspaper "Lietuvos rytas" (four publications a year) and in the Ministry of Education newsletter, web page www.atsvaitas.lt
