Bartons Transport facilitates School runs, Private tours, corporate events and Conferences with its modern fleet of luxury coaches and buses. The company was established in 1964 and has grown year on year. It has now 40 members of staff.

We want to reduce the insurance claims and non-insured claims (i/e small incidents) by 50% thus reducing the likelihood of being involved in major incidents by 2012 and therefore committing to the following:

We will develop a bi annual newsletter for all drivers and passengers promoting our commitment to road safety, this newsletter will highlight our investment in technology and maintenance of our vehicles as well as promoting safe driving practices and how passengers can help with road safety.

We will develop and handout leaflets promoting road safety at all trade fairs we attend - we will print approximately 2000 of these per annum. We will also leave these in prominent places so our passengers can read them as well.

We will organise regular meeting with schools to promote and improve road safety issues in collecting and dropping children to school.

We will continue our investment in our drivers and provide ongoing training in key road safety areas such as health and safety, development driver training, tachograph and working time training etc.
