VIVA L’AUTO 2010, an important road safety event in Florence

UIGA, Italian Union of Automotive Journalists, the association representing professionals of the industry, is a new active signatory within the European Road Safety Charter.
 
One of the actions in their commitment, VIVA L’AUTO 2010, is a three day event – from 16 to 18 of October 2009 in Florence - to show new car models, this year they will hold day dedicated to road safety.
For this, representatives of the Ministry of Transport, Italian Traffic Police, Transport Commission within the Chamber Of Deputies and   
Institute for Health are invited to at the auto show “VIVA L’AUTO because it's reliable, safe, smart” that will take place at Hilton Palace Hall, on the 16th of October, 6.30 pm.
 
DEKRA, a partner of the event, will  make a presentation of the annual safety report ‘Street’ which will provide an opportunity to allow guests to present their own testimonials on the following key topics: the periodic review and appraisals of accidents, heavy traffic, infrastructure, human factors and behaviours risk to driving, future strategies to help reduce accidents in Europe.
 
Underlining their involvement in road safety issues, UIGA will take this opportunity to publicly sign their commitment for the European Road Safety Charter.
