The 2012 National Road Safety Conference & Exhibition
Organised by Road Safety GB (London Region)
14-15 November 2012, The Britannia International Hotel, Canary Wharf, London
Road Safety GB is a national organisation that represents local authority road safety teams from across the UK, and supports road safety officers in fulfilling their statutory role - to reduce the number and severity of road accidents through education, training and publicity policies and programmes.
The 2012 National Road Safety Conference and Exhibition is being promoted to more than 200 UK local authority road safety teams, police forces, fire services and government departments and other stakeholders including the DfT, PACTS and the Highways Agency etc. For the past three years more than 200 people have attended the event, and a similar number is expected in 2012. As such, it is an excellent networking opportunity.
In order to help make the event affordable as possible, Road Safety GB is seeking sponsorship funding to cover the costs of staging the conference. In 2011 three organisations - Colas, Enterprise and Hermes
- jointly sponsored the event. Sponsors' branding will appear prominently on the event website and at the event itself. Sponsors will also be offered a presence at the exhibition and two full residential delegate places at the conference.
A small exhibition, limited to around 20 exhibitors, will run alongside the conference. Places at the exhibition can be booked to highlight the work you are doing, but as in previous years the exhibition is likely to be over subscribed, so early booking is essential.
