The 1st CERSC (Conference on Effectiveness of Road Safety Campaigns) takes place in Budapest, Hungary from 8 to 10 March 2012. The event rests on an international partnership from companies and universities of Visegrad countries: Premium Relations Communication Consultancy Ltd (Hungary) organises the Conference with the cooperation of Czestochowa University of Technology (Poland), University of Zilina (Slovakia), Oziveni o.s. (Czech Republic), Association for Road Safety Partnership (Poland) and KTI Institute for Transport Sciences Non-profit Ltd. (Hungary).

 

Our 2 day Conference is at the crossroads between two fields: communication and transport safety, so if you come you can see into other specialities point of view. The theme of CERSC is "Effectiveness of Road Safety Campaigns", in accordance with the priorities set in the EU White Paper on transport. In addition to the introduction of best practices from Western Europe, it is very important for experts in Visegrad countries to have an opportunity to exchange knowledge.

 

The CERSC is a meeting of professionals, companies and authorities. National and local (transport) authorities, ministries and other decision makers can exchange their knowledge and learn about best practices while becoming part of a new scientific network. For transportation and PR experts involved in road safety campaigns, the conference provides an opportunity to discuss their research and findings in an international forum. They can identify local problems, challenges and they can find similarities with other countries. And last but not least law enforcement agencies, NGOs and private sector entities in the field will also greatly benefit from the Conference. It is important to mention that besides professionals and experts, we give the opportunity to young experts to show their researches and ideas in a section.
