The AZT Automotive GmbH - Alllianz Center for Technoloy is a 100%-Daughter of the German insurer Allianz Deutschland AG, acting as Center of Competence in vehicle technics, safety, repair, traffic accident research and loss prevention. The AZT is member of the German Traffic Safety Council. Its public relations and press releases support the needs of traffic safety promotion. 

Our commitment for the next three years will be mostly based on activities in the field of road safety research and community work.

 

By conducting in-depth accident research and statistical analysis the Allianz Zentrum für Technik (AZT) will put into focus an issue of young road participants (18-24 years). Allianz will use for this purpose the information from Allianz accident research (for example data base analysis of damage that is usually not available in official statistics), in order to better understand inappropriate behaviour of young drivers and raise awareness among the public. For instance, Allianz will pay attention to specific technical circumstances of accidents where young people are involved.

 

The AZT will accompany a study on the influence of drugs in road traffic and include current findings in our worldwide press work. We will regularly include expert reports on drug consumption among young drivers in a research that measures the current situation in Germany. Publications of the results of our investigations will help raise awareness of the public for this growing problem.
