A Safe Trip Around Europe

From Moscow to Verona,
From Prague to Barcelona,
A web of parkways stretches.
So if you’ve got a car
There is no place too far:
Wherever you want
You can drive,
There’s just one issue –
Staying alive.
For the European roads
Are full of guys,
Who drive as if they had no eyes.
So here go some tips to increase
The chances you’ll stay in one piece.
Don’t get near the steering wheel
Unless your mind is wholly clear.
‘Cause out of all things ever born,
The best killer is alcohol!
Prior to setting off on your mission
Check your car is in proper condition.
Got everything you may need?
Some things you just can’t predict.
Before you go there’s more to do
Buckle up - and your passengers too.
Though flying is fun, it won’t make your day
If there’s a windshield in your way.
Don’t drive sleepy, take a break.
Don’t go faster than you may.
Stay considerate and aware
For accidents are never rare.
No phone in your hand,
No blaring music band.
They overwhelm your senses,
Slow down your reflexes.
And remember, while you drive
You need to keep your senses sharp.
For pedestrians cross as if they know not
That every car takes a while to stop.
Please stick to these, they are well meant -
Can help prevent and accident!br>
And it is my hope
That this poem equips
Drivers with a recipe
For safe and pleasant trips!
