International kindergarten „Saulės gojus“ is the first and so far the only Lithuanian

pre-school institution in which a consistent implementation of early foreign language learning is being performed using the bilingual (Lithuanian and Lithuanian-English-German)" language immersion "method.

It is a private education institution. At the moment there are 48 (age 2 to 7). Office employs 16 people, including 9 - teachers.

International kindergarten “Saulės gojus” will commit to the European Road Safety Charter with the following activities:

1. Once per year we will orgnise a Road Safety Week in the kindergarten. During this week, we will provide our children road safety classes and instructions how to behave in a street, a car or a abus. Also we will include road safety trainings to our educational plans.

2. We will organise annually visits to Road Safety School in Vilnius. There the children will attend a road safty class, watch a movie and will have practical tasks.

3. Four times a year we will organise trips to the city and provide them with road safety lessons in the streets. We will also include this activity into our educational program.

4. We will organise a drawing contest “Būkime saugūs kelyje” (“Be safe in the roads”). The drawings will be exhibited in the kindergarten and uploaded in our website www.kindergarten.lt

5. We will publish a leaflet about children’s safety in the streets and will distribute them among communities members.
