16th Secondary School in Tarnow is a state school for students aged 16-19. Apart form the standard curriculum each class in our school has got a separate educational program. These include police officer, fire fighter and army officer. Each of the specialties requires different knowledge, skills and attitudes to be acquired and developed by our students. Many graduates from the XVI Secondary School continue their education at police and military academies and fire services schools in Poland.

16th Secondary School in Tarnow commits to organising various forms of educational activities for its students and employees aimed at developing awareness in road safety issues.
Our actions will include:
* we will continue the 'additional specialty' classes for our students with the police participation
* we will organise yearly road safety events at school
* we will organise competitions for posters depicting our students' way to school
* we will organise first aid courses for the students
* we will teach our students how to behave if an accident occurs
* we will conduct surveys checking students' traffic habits
The progress of our action plan will be supervised by the selected team of teachers. The implementation of selected tasks, though, will be done cooperatively by all teachers employed at our school. The number of activities will be determined.
