How did you evaluate/are you evaluating the success of your action?
In all the projects we carry out, our education partners prepare quarterly reports about the quality and scope of all the programs. These reports are audited annually, both externally and internally. Internationally, we use the Sales Force CRM Tool for monitoring the beneficiaries. We allocate 5% of the total budget of our activities to these audit and control.
After any activity is carried out, or after teaching the education workshops in schools, general satisfaction and knowledge acquisition surveys are handed out in order to assess the activities.
It is difficult to link the data on number of fatalities in countries with the number of students impacted in the last 20 years. However, and thanks to a report carried out by Fundación MAPFRE in 17 Latin American countries, regarding behavior and road safety education, it has been demonstrated that 70% of students who have taken part in road safety education activities, "always" use their seat belts. On the other hand, of those students who have never received a road safety education, only 20% wear seat belts when they go in the front seat, and 0% when they go in the back seat.
