What problem did you address/are you addressing? 
Safety at rail-road level crossing and within railway property. Awareness campaign Safe rail-road level crossing – "Stop and Live!"
What are your objectives? 
Reducing the number of accidents at level crossings and in railway areas by: - promoting the correct patterns of behaviour and educate the public to accept them,
Raising awareness of threats posed by being careless whilst going through crossings or railway areas
Describe the characteristics of your target audience 
Drivers and pedastrians (users of road traffic), adults and children, media. Especially people who cross level crossings and pass railway lines.

Name of action 

After being stopped, the drivers are tested for alcohol consumption, and are fined for omproper bahaviour at level crossings. Pedastrian will be monitored if they are crossing LXs and railway lines in designated places. Actions in 23 cities across Poland.

How did you disseminate/are you disseminating results or how did you promote/are you promoting your initiative? 
We use communication materials. Apart from that we inform the media about the performed actions.
How did you evaluate/are you evaluating the success of your action? 
The research of such an area is very difficult. The change of people's behaviours is a very time-consuming process. For now we can only focus on conducting the solutions we believe are right and wait for results to come in the future years.Besides that we collect statistics mainly of people who are fines for improper bahaviour. We also collect the numbers of distributed leaflets, articles etc.
