Welches Problem wollen Sie angehen?
Road safety is a typical field where important investments are not always bringing results. The major contribution of NRSO is to continuously and dynamically support the road safety decision makers and stakeholders (public and private) at all levels (local, regional, national, international) with updated knowledge and data via open-science in order to identify the appropriate road safety policies, programmes and measures for the significant reduction of the number of road accidents and of the related casualties in Greece, in Europe and worldwide.
Was planen Sie zu tun? Beschreiben Sie Ihre Ziele:
Contribute to the reduction of the number of road accidents and of the related casualties in Greece, in Europe and worldwide through the scientific support of evidence based decision making for the necessary road safety policies, programs and measures
Describe the characteristics of your target audience
The target audience is road safety decision makers and stakeholders (public and private) at all levels (local, regional, national, international) to support their road safety policies, programmes, measures and interventions.
Is there a plan for continuing these activities in the coming years?
The NRSO is continuously investing into systematic production and dissemination of scientific knowledge as well as into the support of road safety activities beyond Europe with emphasis on least performing regions (Africa, Middle East, Asia, Latin America). The NRSO aims also to further exploit the new digital infrastructure, services and data (telematics, adas, c-its, automation, maas) for the support of innovative and highly efficient actions for the reduction of road casualties worldwide.
