Search Members' activities

Meetings at hospitals, inserted in the path of future mothers, to raise awareness of the correct use of restraint systems for children and to share simple solutions to the problems for everyday's child mobility. 1 hours/month together with a cop and a psychologist discussing security in a simple and practical.

Our goal is to prevent work-related accidents and road transport by road safety education and also fully assist the victims of these disasters. Address the causes and effects of this global scourge

Each autumn XIU calls on its members to bring the issue of visibility for young cyclists to their attention. During XIU ACTION WEEK we ask schools and parents ' associations to simultaneously take action. In this way, we want to create a group feeling for the young people. And at the same time encourage and inspire schools and parents ' associations by showing that they are not alone in their struggle. The actions in schools are quite varied. It can be about a ' fluo-breakfast ', a ' fluo-music performance ', 'fluo poster campaign, ' fluo flashmob ' etc.

Wasted Lives is a FREE programme delivering key road safety messages to new and soon to be drivers across Lancashire. Delivered by road safety faciliators from both Lancashire County Council and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, the programme has been running since June 2008 and has educated over 33,500 16-25 year olds about the potential consequences of speeding, using your mobile phone, not wearing seatbelts and drugs and alcohol.
