The main activity of Road Sign Design Company “Jerzy Gruszczynski” includes graphic design and road sign system design. The company employs from 1 to 2 people depending on workload.

Road Sign Design - Jerzy Gruszczynski will renew its commitment to European Road Safety Charter for the next three years with the following activities:

 

1. Continuation of a developing a website dedicated to the influence of road sign design on road safety (www.znakidrogowe.eu) and publication on our website of an extensive research study analysing the influence of road sign systems design on road safety.

 

Up to now there are more than 1.000 illustrations (mainly photographs) and more than 100 articles. on our website related to road safety. We will continue the publications at least to: 31.12.2012.

 

2. Continuation of publication of articles about road sign design and road safety in specialised press (about five annually during the next three years). Such press has a circulation of 1,000 to 10,000.

 

3. Continuation of a cycles of lectures on road safety and road sign design (eight lectures annually, with about 400 participants in total, during the three-year commitment period). The lectures are aimed at engineering students, road safety professionals and policemen, but they will be open and free of charge for anyone interested in road safety. The lectures will be held on the premises of the host entity
