Full service leasing of vehicles

In the framework of our commitment to the European Road Safety Charter during the next three years Arval Slovakia will continue in following activities:

1. To reduce the number of accidents and to teach drivers how to drive safe and eco friendly we will provide e-learning for the drivers. E-learning is focused on the following issues:

Traffic rules
Safe driving
Eco driving
Update on changes in traffic legislation

We will distribute fact sheets to promote e-learning among our clients. Our clients drive over 4,000 vehicles, so we will offer e-learning to more than 4,000 drivers.

2. We will launch new tool to help fleet managers to control behavior of their drivers. The new tool is based on telematic principle. The system collects data on fuel consumption and mileage but also alerts the driver about the need for a regular service, or the possible failure of the vehicle.

3. To provide permanent assistance to drivers of our clients we will continue in operating our call centre and assistance service which is available for drivers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. This assistance program is related to immobility of the vehicle caused by an accident, mechanical failure, vandalism or theft of the vehicle.

4. To improve safety of the drivers of Arval vehicles in case of vehicle failure we prepared free of charge application for Smartphones and iPhones. Using this application it is easy for drivers to find a service point for maintenance or repair work or to organize a tyre change. They can also handle an emergency instantly or plan an intervention whenever and wherever they wish.

5. We will continue to improve drivers’ awareness of road safety by publishing various articles in our company magazine, on our website and in newsletters sent to clients. The articles will be focused on topics such as: road safety alerts, seasonal driving safety tips, the most frequent errors done by drivers, how to prepare car for winter / summer season, importance of checking tyres etc.
