We have place photos of our loved ones who were killed on the roads in white photo frames. The number of frames indicative of the numbers killed in one year. Numbers mean nothing to people but when they see the real people behind the statistics it has a huge impact. Each person killed, much more than just a number. We have taken our display to schools, road safety roadshows, companies, ploughing championships, outdoor events, and Houses of Parliament. In so doing we have helped to get road safety legislation passed which had been previously opposed.
The pilot project financed from Norway grants was realised between years 2015-2016. "Live to see twenty" project was realised due to cooperation of many state, non-profit, firm organisations, hospital and two czech universities under main coordination of The Kolečko Endowment Fund, supervision of The Czech Association of Traffic Accidents Victims and deeply evaluated by methodologists from The Palacký University Olomouc.
Lockerbie Academy has integrated road safety in its educational programme, in physics through the themes of speed, velocity, distance and braking. Together with Police Scotland, students simulated road crashes. They surveyed parents and teachers about their awareness of driving in bad conditions and worked on a plan to assist drivers in different traffic situations. Recently we added a safe winter drive campaign where the Police taught the students how to do winter car checks and then the students went to a local supermarket and under police and teacher guidance checked local cars..

We have established traffic safety classrooms in the police headquarters of participating regions. Both pre-school and general education students are participating in organized visits. The visitors are assuming multiple roles as drivers, pedestrians and passengers. They acquire theoretical and practical knowledge, relative to the safe use of our roads. The Lithuanian Traffic Police Service represents the Lithuanian Police within the national traffic safety system, ensures the implementation of effective measures for safer traffic.

A program mainly for schoolkids (age 8-10) showing them with a real truck the blind spots and how to stay safe around a vehicle. A longstanding program, going on for almost 20 years now. On an average 140 classes with more than 2500 children are going through this training annually. Cooperating with Julius Blum GmbH, a local company, a new educational film was produced 2017. It's used in the classrooms, before the actual program starts.
Every four minutes a child is prematurely lost on the roads of this world.Many more are injured, often severely. Throughout the world, roads are bustling with people operating cars, buses, trucks, motorcycles, and mopeds; with pedestrians and other types of road users. Travel made possible by motor vehicles supports economic and social development in many countries and makes transporting goods and people fast and easy. Despite these benefits, however, motor vehicles are involved in accidents that are responsible for millions of deaths and injuries every year worldwide.
